SP, Patch to remove the virus chiCkie

System Patcher is a patch for the virus chickie.
The virus chickie is a worm for Windows which appeared at the beginning of the year 2007.

Its visible function is that the menus “search” and “run” menu to start are not available any more even by the short cuts (F3 and Ctrl+R), the folder option is not more available, the administration of the restoration of the system is deactivated.

It forbids also the launching of certain programmes of administration like the task manager, msconfig, cmd, regedit...

This value is added to the registry: "I just want to say I love Milko and I need a drink."

It is transmitted by the removable supports..

This virus creates a file in the Windows directory

• <Windows>\chiCkie.exe

Creates too three files in all removable disk:

• 1_Saves.exe
• 1_Saves_Fichiers.exe
• Administrateur_Fichiers.exe

Creates the registry entry::

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
chiCkie
<Windows>\chiCkie.exe

HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

This virus launches out automatically to each time you open or explore an USB key, it is thus preferable to download this patch and to decompress it on the desk, to start again your machine in safe mode and of launching the patch, always in safe mode.
Insert all your USB keys when you launch the patch so that they all are disinfected.
